Surprise Tampa Engagement Session

I have been waiting for the day that I get to be a part of a proposal! I always thought, how awesome is it to be there for those first moments; the moment that began your lives together!

David called me a couple days before his big plan to propose. In a little bit of a frantic he told me, “I just know I need a photographer, are you available?” I think I screamed in excitement (to myself of course!) and answered very calmly, “Yes, of course. Give me all of the details.” I could. not. wait!

The day of the proposal, I swear I could feel all his anxiety building up in myself. Thankfully, David had all his friends to help and even some of her family. We all met in a quaint park in Tampa next to Ulele restaurant. With flowers in hand and the ring nicely tucked away in his pocket; he was ready and we were all waiting on the dock for her arrival.

Liz and her family arrived on a cute little boat to the dock where David was calmly waiting for her. I don’t think she knew what was happening until that moment he got down on one knee, but when she did…that smile!

I’m so excited for these two lovebirds to get married and can’t wait to be a part of their special day!
