When I think of a garden wedding, I think of all the fresh flower buds finally blooming, the sweet smell of rose and the intense green colors. Sunken Gardens Weddings in St Pete is no different, and May was such an amazing time to have a wedding there. Kelli and Cory love the outdoors, so Sunken Gardens was the perfect place for them.
We met Kelli and Cory at The Hollander Hotel in Downtown St. Pete where they were getting ready. The Hollander has really great character, and it was so much fun photographing her details in the newly updated lobby.
After the both of them got ready, we headed outside for their first look. Kelli’s dress was unique, in that the team at Malindy Elene took two separate pieces and combined them!
Sarah from Malindy Elene says, “Kelli was such a doll to work with- she came in with a specific look for the wedding gown. We knew she would love the Martina Liana separates! It came together so easily and the style was perfect for the day!”
I have to agree! Her gown looked amazing – wait till you see the details on the back!
To our furry surprise, their new pup Bernie was there to take part in all the action. How cute is he??
One of my favorite parts of photographing a wedding at Sunken Gardens is the amazing foliage. How amazing is this cactus? Can every venue have a cactus??
The reception was intimate, but so much fun. Kelli and Cory were on the dance floor all night thanks to the amazing music by Bay Kings Band.
“Kera was amazing! We loved working with her and the photographs turned out beautiful. She took control and made us feel at ease on our special day. We can’t wait to work with her again in the future!”
