Brittany and Weston’s Intimate St. Pete Beach Wedding

Would you believe me if I told you that high school sweethearts still exist? I will be the first one to tell you I wasn’t a believer until I met Brittany and Weston. The two of them were friends in middle school and Brittany admits she had the biggest crush on him for years. However, when they started their freshman year in high school, the two of them started dating; and as they say in all great stories, the rest was history.

Brittany and Weston traveled from upstate New York to have a St Pete Beach wedding so they could celebrate their special day with their family who live nearby. It was important for them that all their family could attend; including Brittany’s grandparents (who were a hoot btw!), and all those who were no longer physically there, but there in spirit. Brittany and Weston really made it a point to honor her mother in a framed portrait of her on her own wedding day. Though heartbreaking to see, it was sweet to have such an amazing memorial on her wedding day.

Because Brittany and Weston live so far, their wedding day was the first time I had actually met them in person! But as soon as I saw them together, I was blown away by the innocence of their love. It was pure, honest, and humble and it was a blessing to witness.
