Editorial Engagement Session in Downtown St. Petersburg | Tampa Bay Photographer

Engagement season is here, and what better way to celebrate that than to show one of my very favorite ways to photograph one. Lately, I have had an itch for editorial photography. Editorial photography can be defined as lifestyle, or photo-journalistic. It’s a way to capture a moment, a fleeting memory, without posing. My favorite part about this is that it allows the couple to really enjoy being together in a place they love. For this particular couple, it was a local bar, Green Bench Brewery. We had a blast playing around the bar, pouring beers, and we even had a personal tour in the back where all the hop magic is made. Later on in our session, we decided to go to the place they were going to be married, The Vinoy, a famous landmark in downtown St. Petersburg. It was a great day overall to really get to know them better, as well as adventure around the local neighborhood.
