I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

I enjoy shooting weddings for so many reasons, but one of the main reasons has to be all of the unique and interesting people I get to meet. They sometimes will pull me aside to ask how I got into photography. If I am out of town, like I was for this one, they ask how I am able to travel and own a business at a young age (these are the sweet grandparents that attend). And sometimes, just in the midst of the crowds, my camera finds people that I have never spoken to that day, or will never speak to.

I love this photo because it has so much depth and story. After the ceremony, I made my way outside of the beautiful Chicago church. Bubbles were being passed out and some of the people were testing them to make sure they worked efficiently. I on the other hand, needed to make sure my lighting was right for when the bride and groom came busting out of the two doors that are featured on the left. So I picked up my camera to do a test shot and this woman just happened to turn to look at me – and she is stunning! I think its the way her dark hair hits her pale skin, or perhaps the amount of fun colors she is wearing in a crowd that mainly wore blacks and grays, or the way the sun’s rays are showering her.
