Roxy and Rob’s Downtown St. Pete Engagement

Engagement sessions are some of my favorite sessions for many reasons. One, it gives me and the couple the chance to get to know each other, and two, it really allows me to see how the couple vibes together. From body language to comfortability, these sessions really allow me to read how you two work together and prepares me for the wedding day.

Roxy and Rob’s downtown St. Pete engagement session was no different. I met Roxy,Rob,and their little pup Lulu at Green Bench Brewing Co. The two of them love craft beer! Rob had the famous Sunshine City IPA and Roxy enjoyed the saison. Another reason I love the engagement session – catering it to what you love to do for fun!

Recent transplants from Georgia, Roxy and Rob have really immersed themselves into the city of St. Pete and I absolutely love them for it. After having a couple drinks, we walked around central ave, talking about their love, new life in St. Pete, and stopping every so often to snap a picture. It really felt like we were just old friends hanging out and I just so happened to have my camera on me.

We ended our session at North Shore Park where Roxy and Rob planned to dress up a bit more and pop bubbly! The sunset that night was out of this world and the colors of the sky were begging to be photographed. A first session for me there, but definitely not the last.
