I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

i'm KÉra

Whitney and Taylor’s wedding day started at The Cordelle. Whitney and her closest gals (mostly her sisters!) were getting ready together in the most amazing room. The day was overcast, but it was a perfect autumn day for a wedding in the garden. Friends and family showed up throughout the afternoon. Place cards were being set and flowers arranged. For a wedding celebrating a love as big as theirs, a joyous mellow essence filled the air.

Whitney and Taylor met in medical school, on the island of Dominica in 2015. They were friends for a couple years , and then started dating in 2017 in Michigan, while they were finishing their 3rd and 4th years of medical school.

After they graduated medical school this past May, they traveled to Iceland, Scotland, Germany, and Italy together. Their last week was in Rome and after a very romantic day of amazing food, beautiful sightseeing, and walking up and down the different streets together, they found themselves walking up the middle of the Spanish Steps. Taylor turned to look at her once they were at the top, and bent down on one knee.

Whitney didn’t even let him get the question out before she bent down to hug and kiss him and say “YES YES YES!!!”

Whitney and Taylor hired me in August and one of the first things she said to me was, “I hope it’s okay that I text you all the time because you’re my new best friend.” It was love at first conversation y’all.

Over the course of the next few months, we all were anticipating their wedding at the well-known Nashville venue, The Cordelle!

Taylor says he loves, “the way she sees the world and holds tight to her faith with integrity. Her worldview is rooted deeply in who the Lord is and how he loves others and she lives that out no matter if there’s a cost to her or not.”

Whitney says she loves, “the way he loves others. We lived in Michigan before moving to Tennessee and during the winter, he came home without his jacket and gloves. I asked him wear they were and he told me there was a guy on the street who needed them more than he did. It just second nature to him, to love others more than himself and I just love that he loves like Jesus does.”

Y’all, love like this is so amazing. And experiencing their love for each other and for other first hand is remarkable. It was an immense joy to be a part of their day. Others felt it, too. There didn’t seem to be a dry eye in the audience.

After their wedding in the garden, their friends and family celebrated in the hall, cut the cake, and the two newlyweds were sent off under a special lighted walkway.

Congratulations you two!
