I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

i'm KÉra

Ever since I moved to Nashville, I’ve had this affinity for mountain escapes and photographing couples in places that look completely different than Florida. I came across Lookout Mountain very quickly and I knew this would be a bucket list location. When Anna Rose told me Josh was originally going to propose there but couldn’t, I knew it was the perfect opportunity for all of us!

Anna Rose and Josh’s first chapter isn’t a short one. In fact, they first met each other the summer of 2014 when they both worked at Lululemon. Anna Rose was living in California at the time and was only home for the summer; so when the season was over, like any millennial, they stayed in touch over social media. I imagine it was just a random hello here and there and the occasional “insta like”, and a small curiosity of, “I wonder how they’re doing?” I say this from experience!

Well, in 2017 Anna Rose moved back to Nashville and she ended up at SHED fitness where Josh was the trainer! Coincidence or fate? You decide.

They rekindled their friendship and make plans to grab coffee and take a yoga class together.

“I got the time wrong (Josh will never admit he told me the wrong time 😉) and missed the class. But I waited next door for an hour until class was over. We ended up talking for 2 hours and it felt so easy,” Anna Says.

Josh asked her to be his date to a mutual friends wedding that day and they have been inseperable ever since.

Three years later (I’m sensing a pattern here!), they went to Chattanooga to celebrate their third anniversary by hiking one of their favorite trails. Josh’s original plan was to propose at sunset on lookout mountain after a day of hiking fiery gizzard.

Anna Rose says, “The whole day was magical and we had the most perfect view of sunset. While waiting for the sun to set, there was an engagement photo shoot and a wedding happening behind us.”

Josh decided to not steal anyone’s thunder so he waited till the next night. They had the most unbelievable dinner and got dessert to go. They bought champagne on the way home and to Anna Rose’s surprise, it was meant to celebrate their engagement <3

After reading that Josh couldn’t propose on lookout mountain, I decided that it would be SO FUN to take them back to Chattanooga and recreate the magic. It was the most perfect day for a lookout mountain engagement and we shot for 3 hours, haha! I couldn’t get enough of the mountains, their love, and their energy. Just wow, all of it!

I can’t wait for their Fall wedding at The Noelle!
