I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

i'm KÉra

Bri said she knew she had to hire me for their Rocky’s Lake Estate wedding after our almost hour long phone call. We instantly clicked talking about their love story and her vision for their day. I knew I wanted to be that person that was going to walk with her and Alec on this journey to their picture-perfect wedding.

As a Nashville wedding photographer, I often get inquiries for weddings in Kentucky, Alabama or Georgia, but this Georgia inquiry started off a little different when I first spoke to Bri’s cousin Bekah! Bekah (Bri’s cousin, maid of honor, and wedding planner) found my blog for a Juliet Chapel wedding, and she knew I would be a good fit for Bri and Alec’s wedding. I was thrilled to say the least.

After Bri and Alec hired me, we started to collaborate on their engagement session, which they drove up to Nashville for. It was my first time meeting them in person and right off the bat we all felt incredibly comfortable with each other. I felt like their friend hanging out that just so happens to also be taking amazing photos. Some time would go by before we saw each other again for their wedding, but I loved keeping up with them on Instagram, simultaneously counting down the days until their big day.

My time leading up to their wedding started with a 4 hour road trip. I packed my favorite homemade snacks for me and my associate and mapped out the Starbucks that was halfway there. When we arrived, the weather was beyond perfect. High 70’s with a slight breeze. I knew Bri and Alec’s wedding at Rocky’s Lake Estate was going to be amazing. And it was.

Bri and Alec’s day started apart as they both got ready with their friends, building up the anticipation until they got to do their first look. It was so sweet because their two pups were able to join! Afterwards, we walked about the property for portraits around the lake. Their ceremony was performed by Alec’s grandfather, and it was precious seeing him pronounce them as husband and wife.

Bri and Alex wrapped their evening dancing their hearts out and then saying bon-voyage on a private helicopter!
