Move over neutrals! Pinterest’s trend forecasters are predicting a fun, bold palette to fall in love with in 2025! The trending colors of the year – cherry and silver – are here to make a statement. To highlight this up and coming trend, The Florista and I teamed up for a fun shoot to highlight how this color pairing can be brought to life.
Let’s talk about cherry first. It’s not your average red—it’s deep, dark, and sweet, with an air of bold sophistication. Think ripe cherries at peak summer. It’s playful, passionate, and makes an unforgettable impression. Then there’s silver—the perfect complement. Metallic and modern, it adds a sleek, cool tone that balances the bold red cherry. Together, these two colors create a vibe that’s both sultry and chic, daring and elegant. In 2025, trendsetters are weaving these colors into everything from makeup, menus, and event décor.
In our shoot, The Florista and I wanted to capture the beauty of this color pairing, blending cherry’s boldness with silver’s timeless cool. We focused on florals with bold pops of red and deep burgundy. Silver martini glasses filled with dark cherries added the perfect touch to the tablescape of flowers. Along with the stunning florals, the tablescape featured sleek, silver candlestick holders with flickering white candles. The result was a romantic, yet edgy look that felt modern and lush.
When imagining your own event, there are so many ways this trend could be implemented. Whether delicious cherry cocktails, served in silver martini glasses like the ones we used, are served during your cocktail hour, or velvet linens in a deep cherry color decorate your tables with silver vases holding your gorgeous floral centerpieces, there are so many ways this color can be incorporated into your wedding or event details. I’m sure we will see more of these trending colors in this years’ weddings and I am here for it!
