I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

i'm KÉra

I can’t be the only one who loves to shoot engagement sessions in downtown St. Pete. St. Pete just offers the most amazing backdrops, with a ton of variety!

With the weather always changing as it does here in Florida, Chevonne, Vaughn and I decided it would be best to meet in the morning at North Straub Park and avoid all of the afternoon rain. Shooting with overcast skies is seriously one of my favorite times to shoot – and Chevonne and Vaughn made it even better.

The two of them really had no fear getting in front of my camera, and as soon as I hugged them hello we were already diving into the session. One of my favorite questions to ask couples is, “What do you admire most about each other?”. Sometimes it puts the couple on the spot, and sometimes it takes them a moment to think about what to say. But Chevonne and Vaughn knew in an instant what they loved and admired most about each other, and it made my heart so full!

We ended our engagement session in front of the “you are my sunshine” mural by Banyan cafe (try not to get that song stuck in your head), and had our final shots in front of the new Chihuly building. I love shooting in front of this building because colors just POP and I can’t get enough of Chevonne in her purple dress here!

PS. If you’re wondering why my subject line started with Vaughn Squared, it’s because they both have Vaughn/Vonne in their names! When I learned that their closest friends and family called them this, my heart exploded! Marriage is truly about being a teammate, and I just love that they have their own team name!
