I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

i'm KÉra

I love photographing weddings at Cedarmont Farm. Tucked away in a quaint neighborhood in Franklin, Cedarmont Farm offers privacy and intimacy for your event. It’s amazing how everything feels so present in this scenario. Nothing else matters except for you, your marriage, and the story I tell through imagery.

Delaney and Michael met by happenstance. She was teaching his Pre-K class their graduation song and dance when they got on the topic of The Lion King. This commonality stayed with them and they hung out a couples of times before Delany left town to finish her program with the AmeriCorps. She didn’t want anything serious because she knew long distance would be tough, but Michael insisted she was worth the wait. Delaney and Michael did long distance for 8 months until Delaney’s program got cut short and she moved back home.

Michael planned to propose to Delaney and included her family and some of her closest friends. On their way to Chicago for a vacation, they stopped in Louisville to meet up with family and friends on the way — or so she thought. On her girls day with her sister, they walked into a bar and Delaney heard guitar and thinking it may be some sort of event happening, started to walk out of the bar. Her sister then pushed her further into the bar where Delaney saw and heard Michael singing one of their songs that they listened to while they were long distance. Michael proposed to Delaney as he sang and she said it was more perfect than she could have imagined.

Michael and Delaney’s wedding was special because you could feel how happy they were the entire day at Cedarmont Farm. These two don’t take each other for granted, and every interaction they had was accompanied with big smiles and hugs. So it was no surprise to me when I saw that they chose sunflowers (the happiest flower!) from Larson Floral Co as the floral of their day. Not to mention, Delaney and Michael chose colorful signature drinks from Dream Events and Catering. My favorite was the blueberry margarita!

Naturally, Delaney and Michael danced and sang the night away with Premiere DJs before walking through sparklers on their way to forever, hand in hand and heart in heart.

Congratulations, Delaney and Michael!!
