Downtown St. Pete Engagement Session with Ashley & Tommy

Our wedding journey together usually begins when you reach out to me either by email or by phone. From here, I really take the time to get to know exactly what it is you are looking for and how I can help. The day Ashley reached out to me, it was a tad different. You see, she heard about me through her friend Matt that she works with. I recently shot Michelle and Matt’s wedding earlier this year and Ashley couldn’t stop raving about how awesome the photos turned out (you can see the photos here). I know, total humble brag. But it totally made me blush! I couldn’t wait to hop on a call with her to really set in stone a recommendation for her.

The second we got on the phone, I knew we were a match. One of the most important elements to any wedding vendor relationship is the connection! I would argue, even more so with your wedding photographer since they are with you the whole day 😉 Anywho, I fell in love with her personality and couldn’t wait to begin planning our engagement session! Knowing Ashley and Tommy were more laid back people, we planned to do a more low-key engagement session incorporating nature in a pretty big way. Thankfully for us, its spring in Downtown St. Pete and I scoped out all of the blooms just for them! We toured around North Straub Park, the Vinoy, and ended up in one of my very favorite secret spots full of bougainvilleas!
