Tampa Garden Club Wedding with Yuan and Chanak

Tampa Garden Club weddings never get old in my book. As a venue that’s set in the middle of a garden right across the street from the bay, what more could you ask for? For Yuan and Chanak, that’s exactly why they chose it to officially become husband and wife.

Yuan and Chanak both live in Arizona, but knowing that most of their family live in the Clearwater and Tampa areas, they wanted to make travel easy. Family is such an important piece of their lives and they didn’t want anyone to miss out.

To incorporate both of their personalities, they kept things classic and simple, but made sure to add elements of Arizona, using cactus details that surrounded their cake and take home magnets with their names and wedding date for their guests.

Yuan says, “we like to keep things simple. It’s easy to get caught up in what’s popular at the time, so by keeping things classic, we know we’ll love it whether we look back 5-10-20+ years from now.”

Yuan and Chanak accomplished just that. Both of them were stunning in their get ups. Yuan in her simple, classic white gown, and Chanak in his blue tuxedo. It was a perfect complement to the garden and the waters nearby.

Still trying to keep things simple but also wanting to pay an homage to their families culture, Yuan and Chanak incorporated a tea ceremony mixed in with a traditional wedding ceremony, saying “I do” in front of everyone they love.

The food was a wonderful treat! My second photographer and me got to enjoy the family style feast along with everyone else, trying authentic noodles, soups, and entrees that were fit for any king and queen! I can assure you, no one left there hungry 🙂
