Lindsey & Travis’ Couples Session on St. Pete Beach

Lindsey and Travis were supposed to be married in Sanibel last year and instead opted for an intimate backyard ceremony in the midst of the pandemic. Like many couples of mine, they were able to use their retainer at a later date and we chose to shoot their couples session at Redington Long Pier during sunrise!

At the end of our shoot, I wasn’t sure what I loved more. The fact that the beaches were crowdless and all you could hear were the small waves and our voices. Or the way these two seamlessly opened up in front of my camera; dancing, jumping around, and smooching.

If there is one piece of advice I would give my couples it’s this: don’t be afraid to let those walls down. Vulnerability in front of the camera turns your images into magic, and what people usually see when they see you is actually documented. It is THE COOLEST thing to actual have visual proof of what others see in your love.
