I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

Whenever I get an inquiry for a Cedarmont Farm wedding I get incredibly excited. I love this venue. Not only is it a quaint, tucked away property with a historic home, but my husband and I were married here as well! Maybe that makes me bias, but this venue has my heart. For Megan and Chris, it was much the same feeling.

Erin, Megan’s sister, was helping Megan in her planning process and sent this venue to her early in the planning. After sifting through all of the venue options, Megan and Chris ultimately landed on Cedarmont Farm on their own and I’m so glad they did.

My husband and I were married in the winter and it was really fun to experience the property in the spring. And Megan and Chris couldn’t have picked a better day to get married. A storm rolled through the day before and brought with it a cool breeze. So when the sun came out, it was perfection.

We met Megan in the bridal suite where she and her girls were getting ready. It was a sweet ambiance — a calming anticipation. Shortly after her hair and makeup was finished, she dressed in her gown from the White Room — a flowy gown with lace details down the train. She looked stunning for her first look with her dad and Chris.

Megan’s brother in law did their ceremony in front of the historic house, so after their first look they did a brief “make it legal” ceremony on the dock by the pond. Honestly, this corner of Cedarmont Farm has to be a new favorite. It was surrounded by the most lush, green trees and the pond was a glacier blue — absolutely beautiful.

One of my favorite parts about Megan and Chris’ wedding is that they partied their hearts out, staying on the dance floor most of the night! Pro tip: if you want your guests to dance, then you need to be out on the dance floor, too 🙂

Congratulations, Megan and Chris!
