Lizzie and Sam both met and moved to Nashville the same year. As fate would have it, they arrived separately at Attaboy Bar in Nashville, and upon meeting that evening have been together ever since. Their Cedarmont Farm wedding in Franklin, TN was brimming with love and joy. This amazing couple are truly the sweetest. They have the biggest hearts! Their kindness and compassion were evident throughout the day, permeating every interaction and detail. Whether taking wedding party portraits or moments spent with their loved ones, their genuine warmth was present and you could easily see that everything they did was from the heart, which I absolutely love about them.
Their Cedarmont Farm wedding day started with getting ready. Lizzie and her bridesmaids shared a special toast with a shot of tequila and lime before returning to get into their dresses. Once ready, Lizzie shared a first look with her father where she gifted him a personalized tie. The stunning bride then had her big reveal with her bridesmaids before heading to meet her groom for their own special first look moment. After capturing their initial reactions, we explored the beautiful grounds of Cedarmont Farm as I took portraits of the soon-to-be newlyweds.
Lizzie and Sam’s outdoor wedding ceremony took place surrounded by natural beauty. After exchanging vows and sealing it with a kiss, I stole the newlyweds away for more wedding portraits set against the breathtaking backdrop of the farm as the sun set over the trees. During the golden hour portraits they sported custom denim jackets. Sam had a sleeve of his jacket dedicated to Lizzie with patches of her name and others like “til death”. Lizzie’s jacket featured her new name, Mrs. Sestito, embroidered on the back.
As the sun fell further in the sky, we headed back to the historic red barn where their reception unfolded. This beautifully restored barn features both modern and charming, rustic elements. One thing that was important to the couple was the dining experience. As a chef, Lizzie has a deep appreciation for food; it was only natural that she sought to create an extraordinary culinary experience for their wedding day. They hired a friend who operates a food truck to provide an authentic and delicious dinner for the guests. The meal he prepared was nothing short of amazing!
Every detail of Lizzie and Sam’s wedding day was infused with their personal touch, making their celebration truly unforgettable. Lizzie and Sam, it was an honor to be a part of your wedding day. Cheers to you both!
