I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

i'm KÉra

Callie and Christian’s Blue Ridge Mountains Elopement in Georgia was a weekend to remember. The couple eloped at a gorgeous private residence on top of a mountain. I will admit, it was a little scary getting my car up the hill, but it was worth it to document all the sweet and memorable moments of their wedding weekend.

The morning of their wedding was relaxed, as the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air and everyone savored homemade French toast. The day was slow, in the best way possible. It was full of intention and set the tone for the day. You could hear laughter down the hallway all day long. Around lunch time, Callie and Christian decided to share a McDonald’s lunch together before starting her hair and makeup. After all, they were still planning a first look! They shared many smiles and laughs, unable to contain their excitement.  As they separated to get ready, you could see Christian struggle with not seeing her, and it was so sweet to witness how much he adores Callie.

Callie made sure to include sentimental family items into their wedding day as well. She wore her mother’s veil and her grandmother’s bracelet, honoring the  generations that came before her. Callie and Christian’s elopement was undeniably family-filled.

Once they were wedding ready, they shared a heartfelt first look on the patio, overlooking the majestic mountains. During their private moment together, with breathtaking panoramic views as their backdrop, they exchanged personal vows. I love first looks as they allow couples to have a moment of connection together before the events start to unfold. While Callie and Christian’s wedding was more relaxed and intimate than others, it was still heartwarming to see them take a moment to pause and relish in the moment together. After their private vow exchange we captured the most gorgeous wedding portraits surrounded by the beauty of the Georgian mountains.

The wedding ceremony took place on the second-level patio, adorned with elegant white and green floral arrangements that sat on wooden pillars crafted by Callie’s father. Surrounded by family and friends, Callie and Christian sealed their commitment to one another. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their loved ones enjoyed a delightful charcuterie and wine cocktail hour. Carefully curated by Callie’s best friend and sister-in-law, everyone enjoyed the assortment of cheeses and meats that adorned the table. I was delighted to also gift them a wedding wine to pair with their appetizers, Emilio Bulfon Cividin Tre Venezie 2020. Callie and Christian are now making it a must have on every anniversary.

A Perfect Wedding Celebration

As the sun began to set over the mountains, Callie and Christian, together with their guests, gathered for an al fresco dinner. To cap off the evening, Callie’s talented sister-in-law made an espresso martini tower that they enjoyed. Then the newlyweds enjoyed a private last dance on the second-level patio, allowing Callie and Christian to bask in the moment together. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

Before settling into the evening, I had the privilege of photographing Callie and Christian in their newlywed bliss. Against the breathtaking backdrop of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains, they radiated happiness and contentment as they sat together, cozy in their white and black sweats.

Callie and Christian’s wedding was a true retreat—a stunning and tranquil celebration. Every moment was crafted with intention, reflecting their deep love and connection. It was an absolute honor to be a part of their beautiful wedding day. Congratulations, Callie and Christian!
