Scenic Diamond Creek Farms Wedding | Rachel and Nic
Nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of Nashville’s Diamond Creek Farms, Nic and Rachel had the most beautiful wedding celebration. This luxury wedding venue, boasting some of the most stunning views in Nashville, served as the perfect backdrop for their summertime soiree. With classic black and white elements complemented by pops of blush florals, their scenic Diamond Creek Farms wedding day was a visual delight. But beyond the picturesque landscapes and timeless decor, what made this wedding truly unforgettable was the genuine gratitude and love that was present throughout the day.
From the moment of my arrival, I could feel the warmth and welcoming vibe from both Rachel and Nic as well as their family. Rachel’s father greeted me with a big bear hug, expressing his appreciation for my presence. Throughout the day, both families continually expressed their gratitude and admiration for the well-organized event. Nic and Rachel themselves gave me high-fives, hugs, and appreciation for being a part of their special day. The kindness and love coming from them and their families was extremely heartwarming. Truly, this is why I love my work so much. I go into each and every wedding with a servant’s heart and it’s the most rewarding feeling — seeing the smiles and feeling the hugs at the end of the night.
Their Love Story
Rachel and Nic met during the pandemic through a mutual friend. However, their relationship started long distance as Nic was stationed in Italy and she was starting medical school. Through many phone and video calls, they fell in love as they shared their past and future dreams, while learning everything about each other. Finally they were able to be together in person over Christmas in 2021. They both knew from the moment they saw each other that this was it! Rachel said from that first meeting in person “the ‘I love you’s’ began and never stopped”.
Rachel and Nic share one of the sweetest love stories ever. After seeing their love for each other first hand, it is easy to see how perfect they are for one another. They are a perfect match and I loved every minute I spent with them. The day started with Rachel getting ready. Her gorgeous wedding gown featured flower petal details and off shoulder-straps. Once ready, the couple met out on a hillside under a tree for their intimate first look and private vow exchange before the ceremony.
Scenic Diamond Creek Farms
The outdoor terrace at Diamond Creek Farms offers panoramic views of a vast green field and the rolling Tennessee hills. It was on this very terrace that Nic and Rachel exchanged their vows, surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of nature with stunning hilly landscape directly behind them. Beautiful blush pink flower arrangements decorated the outdoor ceremony space adding a pop of color to the natural setting.
A Luxury Nashville Wedding Venue
The stone exterior of this luxury wedding venue provides an old world charm. Inside the main hall, white finishes and modern design combined with the natural light streaming in from the picture windows, set the stage for an unforgettable day. The elegant wedding details planned by El Events Design came together to create a timeless and romantic atmosphere. The textured tablescapes featured tall clear vessels with gold outlines holding beautiful floral centerpieces surrounded by white candles. The neutral color palette was stunning. In a world where trends are everywhere, it was refreshing to see something so classic and fresh. The couple’s cake design paid homage to the timeless styles of the past, reflecting an appreciation for the classics. With a simple and elegant appearance, the cake perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic of the wedding.
During the reception festivities, Rachel made a wardrobe change into a frilly party dress! Afterwards, the newlyweds celebrated in style with an epic champagne tower! Seeing their smiles in this moment was pure joy! Then the couple and their guests raised their glasses to toast to a future filled with happiness and love.
As Nic and Rachel’s wedding night winded down and the band began to pack up they shared one last dance together on the empty dance floor. To end the night, they walked to a romantic spot on the property where twinkling light strands hung from the surrounding trees like a waterfall, creating a magical, romantic setting.
