I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

i'm KÉra

When I first moved to Nashville, I knew I’d be entering into a whole new world of wedding venue. I was trading the beaches for the hills; the hotels for estates and barns — I couldn’t be more excited to stretch my creativity in a place that was completely different than what I had known for so many years in Florida. So when Anna reached out to me about her wedding at The Birchwood, I couldn’t help but get so excited.

I first met Anna and James for their engagement session. If I recall correctly, I got them a little lost with the directions! We were headed to the Narrows of the Harpeth and with limited cell service, it can be easy to get turned around. But when we finally made it to our spot, Anna and James greeted me with the biggest smiles. These two were such warm souls. It’s safe to safe that by the end of our session we became more than just client and business owner, we were friends.

It gives me so much joy when my couples let me into their lives! I got to know Anna and James a little better throughout the course of their engagement via Instagram and text— I even got to meet their pupper Nash! Their wedding was one I was counting down for!

I got to the Venue at The Birchwood first and it was so serene; nestled so sweetly in Spring Hill. The chapel sits right next to the reception barn making it so easy for guests and couples alike. Freshly painted in white with exposed wood beams, The Birchwood knows how to aesthetically make a dream wedding come true.

Anna and James’ wedding was a sweetly emotional one. Starting with the first look when Anna started to tear up, I know I wouldn’t be able to hold it together for much longer. When they were officially pronounced husband and wife, my heart just burst to be a witness to such pure joy. And those romance shots in that clean golden hour light? Just wow. Scroll down to see what I mean.
