Grace and Mario’s Reunion Stay Wedding

Grace and Mario finally got to celebrate their marriage at the Reunion Stay in Franklin after postponing the celebration one year with friends and family.

When the pandemic put many things on hold, Grace and Mario decided to get married in front of their immediate families and postpone their reception. They actively chose to celebrate love anyway and I love that they did. Grace and Mario are the type of couple that you enjoy being around. They’re happy, optimistic, and laidback — so naturally their first wedding was an absolute joy considering everything that was going on in the world.

Their second wedding was no different; everyone was radiating beautiful joy.

Grace and Mario met at an internship at General Mills in Chicago. As Mario’s best man tells the story (who was also an intern), they had a really fun friend group through the internship and he urged Mario to just let the girls be their friends and nothing more 🤭Well, if you know anything about love, you know it can’t really follow the rules and it always finds a way. Grace and Mario ended up going their separate ways for the last year of school but were reunited when they both took full time positions at General Mills in Murfreesboro. Once they saw each other again, the rest was history.

Do you ever think back to when you first met your partner? I often do and think to myself, “wow, I had no idea I was meeting my future husband that day.” Love is so unpredictable in the best ways. Like, when Grace and Mario first hung out, I wonder if there was a little spark but something told them, it’s not the right time. And then I wonder, what was different the second time? Perhaps it’s simple. You’ve been placed in my life again and my heart wants to get to know you.

Grace and Mario, I am so blessed that I’ve been able to photograph your love for the last 2.5 years from your engagement session to your second wedding. I cannot wait to see what else life has in store for you two ❤️
