Courtney and CJ’s Clementine Hall Wedding in Nashville, TN is easily my favorite from this year. There were so many amazing, memorable moments, not to mention the exquisite details at every turn. There was so much to love from this wedding, but most of all the sweet newlyweds, Courtney and CJ, who were so warm and welcoming. You could see and feel their connection to each other. Their smiles were endless on their wedding day, but especially Courtney. She has an AMAZING smile and it was such a joy to see her light up with happiness and laughter while capturing wedding photos with CJ.
The pair met over four years ago when CJ was visiting Nashville from Seattle. The night of their fateful meeting is a day they will never forget, but it was the start of their amazing courtship that stood the test of long distance and the pandemic. They knew that if their relationship could survive quarantine, their relationship could survive anything. Now, they are both Nashville residents living their happily ever after with their fur baby, Lucille.
Their wedding day fell on a beautiful, warm fall day that later turned into a brisk evening. Courtney’s long sleeve lace dress was perfect for the day, and looked positively stunning on her. Her bridal bouquet was GORGEOUS! I love all the eye-catching, vibrant and bold colors. The bridesmaids kept it classic and chic wearing champagne-hued, satin dresses in different styles.
Courtney’s sister, Amanda, illustrated her custom wedding invitations that featured a design of Clementine Hall. She also designed and created the bar sign, which was easily one of my favorite details from the day. Along with these custom details, a beautiful, colorful design filled Clementine Hall for their ceremony and reception.
Colorful flower arrangements similar to bridal bouquet lined the front of the altar, while white candles flickering with light, lined the aisle. After their wedding ceremony, everyone headed to the secret courtyard for cocktail hour. This contemporary and intimate space was perfect for guests to mingle and relax while also enjoying the cuteness of a few adorable puppies from Nashville Humane. The puppies were a huge hit and added so much joy to an already joy-filled day!
As the sun began to set, I snuck the couple away for sunset photos across the street at Richland Park. The photos are to die for – the glowing sun, the beautiful setting, and their visible connection was a perfect combination. Capturing the emotional and candid moments from their day was a highlight of mine. The authentic, in-between moments like Courtney leaning her head on CJ’s shoulder, Courtney’s mother crying, or the reactions and laughter shared during the wedding toasts are moments I live to capture.
Brandon from Entertain TN, was the perfect DJ for their friends and family. No one left the dance floor once! The entire hall filled with infectious, celebratory energy on the the checkerboard dance floor, which I loved. As the evening came to an end, the couple made their exit to an epic bubble send-off! Their Clementine Hall wedding was magical from beginning to end.
