Elegant Clementine Hall Wedding | Jen and Jordan
Jen and Jordan are the epitome of soft, romantic love. Their hearts are so gracious and welcoming to everyone they meet. They have truly been a dream couple to work with. Their elegant Clementine Hall Wedding was also a dream! Both Jen and Jordan were so calm the day of their wedding and were just beyond excited to be married.
Jen’s strapless wedding gown was stunning. Her long veil and gorgeous, classic bridal bouquet of white florals completed her elegant look. Once ready, Jen shared a sweet first look with her father. Jen and Jordan also chose to do a first look together. Their reactions to seeing each other were perfect! During this intimate moment, they also exchanged their vows together. It was a beautiful, sentimental, and emotional moment where many happy tears were shed.
Jordan then surprised Jen with a tennis ball that said “I ♥️U”, which is the same thing he did the first time he told Jen he loved her. As the story goes, they were supposed to play tennis, but something got in the way of their plans. Instead Jordan said, “hey catch” and tossed her a tennis ball. When she caught it, she saw the sweet note.
Elegant Clementine Hall Wedding
Once Jen and Jordan were officially husband and wife, we snuck back outside just in time to capture golden hour portraits. Afterwards, we headed back inside Clementine Hall to celebrate the newlyweds. The couple infused their personalities and elements of meaning into the wedding day, making it their own. A family friend, who is Jordan’s former high school basketball coach, officiated their wedding ceremony. Along with their individual signature cocktails, the Hugo Spritz and a Manhattan, a Swedish meatball appetizer was also served during cocktail hour, paying homage to Jen’s Swedish heritage.
They also included two guest books – one that included Polaroid photos of their guests, and the other, a voicemail guest book. I love that they chose to include two different guestbooks, both with such meaning. To be able to look at candid Polaroids of your wedding guests, or hear a loved one’s voice from your wedding day is priceless.
Family and friends are very important to them and they wanted to include those relatives who have passed on by displaying their wedding photos on the fireplace mantle, which was such a touching tribute. It meant so much to Jen and Jordan to have their family and friends gathered together. They spent most of their time catching up with everyone while they celebrated.
Their Love Story
The couple currently lives in Atlanta, but they met in Nashville and are natives to the area. After meeting on a dating app during peak pandemic times, the couple were soon inseparable. It didn’t take long before Jordan proposed to Jen at her family’s vacation home in Sweden during a beautiful sunset by the ocean. Before moving to Atlanta, they used to live around the corner from Clementine Hall and loved the idea of getting married in their hometown where their love story started.
Clementine Hall is a statement venue, with a distinctive style and timeless feel. They knew it was the perfect place to say “I do”. Selecting an elegant, timeless wedding venue was important to Jen and Jordan, as they wanted to be able to look back on their wedding day images and feel like it was yesterday.
