White Ink Calligraphy Studio Branding Session
I recently had the pleasure of capturing a branding session for White Ink Calligraphy Studio in Nashville. Established in 2016, White Ink Calligraphy has quickly become the go-to calligrapher and stationer in the Nashville area. With over eight years of experience, Claire and Townley bring a wealth of expertise and creativity to each custom project.
During their branding session, we purposefully showcased the new White Ink Calligraphy studio, while also highlighting Claire and Townley’s exceptional skills and a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their creative process. The session aimed to capture not just the physical space, but also the happy and welcoming atmosphere that Claire and Townley have cultivated in their workspace. In particular, we wanted these images to enable customers to see and feel the fun and positive energy that defines White Ink Calligraphy.

Designed to foster creativity and collaboration, the new White Ink Calligraphy studio is a beautiful and inspiring space. While photographing the studio, I focused on capturing the details that make it unique – the carefully organized shelves filled with supplies, the vision boards that hung on the wall, and the workspace where Claire and Townley bring their clients’ visions to life.
Claire and Townley are seriously dedicated to their craft, and it shines through in every custom project they undertake. However, they are also known for their fun-loving approach. This playful dynamic is evident in their client interactions, their final designs, and even their everyday tasks together. During the branding session, I photographed them in action working on various pieces. However, I made sure to also capture moments of fun and laughter too. The candid images of them sharing sushi rolls and even some bubbly are among my favorites. More importantly though, these images highlight their talent, the meticulous attention to detail that goes into each creation, and the vibrant and joyful atmosphere they’ve established in their studio. Capturing this branding session for White Ink Calligraphy was truly an enjoyable experience.
