Every detail from Sarah and Connor’s summer garden wedding at The Cordelle felt colorful and playful. I absolutely love how this summer vibe flowed from the garden, into their cocktail hour, and their reception! Sarah’s vibrant summer bouquet featured various shades of pinks and pops of yellow and light blue that tied in the looks of the bridesmaids. The soft, mixed colors of their bridesmaids dresses in pale yellow, dusty blue, and sage green were the perfect summertime combination. For Sarah and Connor’s wedding day, yellow was an accent color and the perfect complement to the pinks also found in her paper designs.

I never thought I would say this but I am LOVING all of the yellow I’m seeing this wedding season! When you have a talented florist like Lauren Marie Atkinson Designs, the yellow in the floral arrangements adds a bit of extra happiness to the day. The floral display at the outdoor garden wedding ceremony was simply stunning. If you look closely, those little flowers that look like daisies are actually chamomile! I’m not going to lie, I was so tempted to bring some home, dry it out, and make tea. 🫖

I can’t talk about Sarah and Connor’s wedding day, without mentioning Sarah’s gorgeous wedding dress. I loved the sleek modern design of the dress that featured a sheer waist cut out that wrapped around to the back. The long wedding gown also had a high leg slit with the same sheer fabric design. The cathedral length veil also featured simple and elegant flower embellishments that completed her look flawlessly.

This sweet couple are both Canadian but first met in Nashville when Connor was playing for the Nashville Predators. To honor the place where their love story began, they chose Nashville for their wedding location. They couldn’t have picked a more perfect wedding venue than The Cordelle. They envisioned a beautiful garden party wedding filled with fun, lots of color, and a laid back vibe. That vision fully came to life with the amazing planning of Olive and Ivy Events. I can say without a doubt that everyone in attendance truly enjoyed themselves as well as the food, drinks, and dancing. Throughout the day, joy and love surrounded the couple as everyone celebrated the newlyweds.
