Georgie Turns One | In-Home Milestone Session in East Nashville
There’s something so special about celebrating a baby’s first year. It’s a milestone filled with growth, joy, and more firsts to come. Little Georgie’s one year session was no exception. I had the honor of documenting this sweet in-home milestone session for Jodi and Zoltan as they celebrated their daughter turning one.
Jodi and Zoltan eloped and had never done a formal photo shoot before, so being invited into their East Nashville home to capture their very first professional photo session as a family, and celebrate this new chapter, was such a gift. They recently bought and renovated their home, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Natural light filled the space and personal touches made it feel so warm and inviting. It was the perfect backdrop for this sweet session.

Georgie is a beautiful, curious, and happy little girl. Her sweet smiles and giggles were absolutely contagious. I truly couldn’t get enough of her! At just one year old, her little personality is already shining. She was on the go the entire time crawling around, exploring her home, and interacting with her parents.
One of my favorite parts of the session was watching the three of them snuggle up on the couch together with their family dog always nearby, watching over Georgie. You could feel the love in every image. I love sessions like this that capture real-life moments of a family, telling their story.
While I am sure Georgie’s parents feel like her first year flew by, I hope these images will be something they look back on for years to come, providing memories of this fleeting, yet beautiful season of life.
