Katie and Zac tied the knot in a timeless downtown Franklin TN wedding at the stunning Harpeth Hotel. This historic location is brimming with charm, sophistication, and elegance. The venue itself is described as a storybook wedding venue, featuring classic and timeless details, which is why Katie and Zac were drawn to it. They fell in love with its small, cozy, historic downtown vibe. As residents of Brentwood with family nearby, the convenient location made it an easy choice.
The couple have classic and timeless style. They spoke of wanting a wedding that not only reflects their personalities, but that will always remain in style. Their simple yet classic theme was carried out with the use of neutral tones, as seen in the white flower bouquets, navy tuxes, and champagne bridesmaids dresses.
The stunning bride, Katie, wore a classic, chic wedding dress featuring a high knee slit, and a long elegant train with intricate embroidered details. Katie glowed with happiness as she walked down the aisle to meet her future husband at the beautiful St. Philip Catholic Church. After exchanging vows and making it official, the couple exited the church as husband and wife. This was the highlight of the day, as they both never lost focus of the reason for this special day. While they wanted to create fun memories and celebrate this milestone moment with their loved ones, finally being married and the moment of the ceremony was the most important aspect of the day to them.
Newlywed portraits followed the ceremony, which was also a significant aspect of the day. They wanted to make sure this magical day was well documented in timeless images that they could enjoy and cherish for a lifetime. In each image, their love and connection shines through. We captured images both outside the church and at Harpeth Hotel – both locations provided a stunning backdrop.
After photographing their newlywed portraits, the couple entered the elegant riverside ballroom. Greenery, white flowers, and candle light decorated the tables. To end the evening, the newlyweds descended down the grand staircase of the Harpeth as guests popped confetti and celebrated. Katie and Zac sealed the night with a romantic kiss – making it a perfect ending to their beautiful wedding day.
Katie and Zac, congratulations! I am so incredibly happy to have been a part of your wedding and capture your beautiful wedding day memories. Cheers to you both!
