As a wedding photographer, I’m granted a front-row seat to some of the most intimate and beautiful moments between couples. However, photographing Elizabeth and Michael’s pre-wedding celebration at the Omni Nashville the night before their wedding was truly something special. They invited me to commemorate their time in the luxurious Presidential Suite at the Omni Nashville, a stunning hotel that exudes Nashville’s charm and elegance. The suite was the perfect setting for this pre-wedding celebration.

The evening began with an exchange of incredibly thoughtful gifts between the soon-to-be-newlyweds. Elizabeth and Michael gifted each other memory books. Seeing how much thought they put into these books was a testament to how deeply they care for each other. This gesture was so telling of their personalities and their connection; they truly are two people who think alike and value the little moments in life.

However, the surprises didn’t stop here. Next, Elizabeth gave Michael a Rolex. His face said it all as he opened his new watch; he was visibly surprised by her thoughtful gesture. Then, Michael gifted Elizabeth with a Louis Vuitton, which she absolutely adored. It was a joy to capture these reactions, the genuine surprise, and the shared excitement between them.

Pre-Wedding Celebration at The Omni Nashville

For this pre-wedding celebration, Elizabeth wore an elegant white gown that looked absolutely stunning. Her sophisticated style was beautifully complemented by her low updo, creating a timeless look. She had a radiant glow, the kind that comes from excitement, love, and the anticipation of marrying the love of her life the very next day. Michael, equally dapper in his tan suit, looked at her with such admiration and affection, making for some incredibly heartfelt portraits.

After they exchanged gifts, we took some time to capture a few posed portraits of Elizabeth and Michael throughout the suite. I love that they could share these quiet moments together before the whirlwind of their rehearsal dinner and wedding day.

There’s something so intimate and beautiful about documenting a couple in these “in-between” moments—the night before they officially say “I do,” when the world seems to slow down and they can simply be together, savoring this incredible chapter in their journey.

Elizabeth and Michael’s evening was filled with so much love and genuine excitement. I could see that they were ready—not just for the wedding day but for the beautiful life they’re building together.
