Katherine and Kyle’s timeless southern wedding at Cedarmont Farm was stunning from beginning to end. Upon arriving, it was clear how much thought and love had been poured into every detail. However, what stood out the most was the pure joy and excitement shared by Katherine and Kyle. They were absolutely giddy to see each other and finally celebrate their love as husband and wife.

Although Katherine and Kyle currently live in Birmingham, AL, they chose Cedarmont Farm in Franklin, TN, as the location for their wedding. It felt like the perfect place to start this new chapter in their story, as this is the area where they first met back in 2021.

When I asked Katherine and Kyle about their most anticipated moment of the day, they both eagerly mentioned the same thing: walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time. I can assure you that when that moment came, it was full of all the emotions you’d expect—love, joy, excitement, and even a few happy tears. The ceremony was also one of the most important parts of the wedding day to the couple. They couldn’t wait to finally say “I do”.

Timeless Southern Wedding at Cedarmont Farm

Cedarmont Farm provided a stunning backdrop with its sprawling fields and elegant charm. The weather was also perfect for capturing breathtaking photos at sunset. I loved photographing those sunset moments, both on the ground and from above with the drone, as the soft golden light bathed the entire venue in a warm glow. The sunsets at Cedarmont Farm are truly UNREAL and I always look forward to them.

Katherine and Kyle’s wedding theme was a traditional southern black-tie affair, and the elegance of their day certainly reflected that. The color palette was a beautiful combination of champagne, gold, black, and white with lots of greenery, all of which added to the timeless, romantic feel of their celebration.

Every detail, from the high floral centerpieces to the table settings, was carefully selected to maintain that timeless charm. The way they effortlessly mixed tradition with personal touches made their wedding feel uniquely theirs. At the reception they had signature cocktails lovingly named after their dogs. The couple also included one of their adorable pups in a few wedding photos too.

Later in the night, the reception turned into an absolute party, complete with cowboy hats and light-up wands. It was so fun to see everyone on the dance floor, letting loose and celebrating with the newlyweds!

I loved capturing Katherine and Kyle’s timeless wedding day at Cedarmont Farm. The combination of southern elegance, personal touches, and genuine love and excitement made their celebration one to remember. Katherine and Kyle, thank you for allowing me to be part of your beautiful day.
