I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

i'm KÉra

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Katie and Hayden’s early fall engagement session, and it was a dream! These two are not only incredibly in love, but they’re also effortlessly relaxed and charming together. Their session took place right as fall started hinting at its arrival.

Katie and Hayden met on Hinge and it wasn’t long before Hayden proposed to Katie during a quiet walk at the beautiful Percy Warner Park. Their mini goldendoodle, Moe, was right there with them, making the proposal even more special. It was the perfect intimate moment for them. Moe also joined us for a couple photos during their photoshoot and he was such a sweetheart.

Favorite Things About Each Other

The way Katie and Hayden describe each other makes it clear that they’re met to be. Katie loves how Hayden is “incredibly loving, patient, and steadfast. He is also very smart so I learn a lot from him. He’s the sweetest dog dad ever and a bomb cook.”

Hayden loves how “Katie is always fun and interesting to talk to and I love the daily dialogue we have together. I also love that she is very determined/hardworking and kind.” The two of them share a deep connection, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy each other’s company in everything they do.

Early Fall Engagement Session

We started the session in Germantown, TN where Katie and Hayden live. Germantown’s historic cobblestone sidewalks and charming buildings made it the perfect backdrop to capture their engagement story. Katie wore a long jean skirt that was absolutely giving those iconic Ralph Lauren 90s vibes—I loved it!

Katie and Hayden have such a calm and chill energy. They spent most of the session cuddled up, laughing, and just being completely themselves. It was such a joy to witness and get to know them this way. Their love and comfort with each other really shines through in the photos.

After Germantown, we headed over to the Tennessee Capitol before wrapping up at Bicentennial Park, where the green trees and open space created a peaceful and romantic end to the session. Katie and Hayden, thank you for letting me capture your engagement photos. I can’t wait to see you again on your wedding day!
