Timeless Engagement at The Sloane in Nashville | Georgia and Jacob
Engagement sessions are always so fun. I love seeing couples so genuinely excited for the wedding day and their future together. Georgia and Jacob’s timeless engagement at The Sloane and Tennessee Capitol in Nashville was an ideal engagement session. Their engagement photoshoot was classic, timeless, a little flirty, and filled with the best moments.
These high school sweethearts brought such a wonderful energy to their session. I always love seeing couples who’ve been together for years and have continued to grow together, especially at such a young age. They are living proof of a strong connection, an enduring love, and the ability to change together through pivotal moments in their lives.
Timeless Engagement at The Sloane
We started their engagement session at The Sloane, which is where they will be married this September. I loved getting to create moments with these two at this special location. Photographing an engagement session at your wedding venue allows for some truly memorable moments. You can see and experience your wedding venue before the big day. I can also scout the best spots for photos and natural light. Meanwhile, you can envision your wedding day more and see where you might want certain photos to be taken. Not to mention, your images will have an extra layer of meaning, as you’ll have twice the happy memories at a location. Years from now when Georgia and Jacob are looking at their engagement photos they will also be able to relieve their wedding day and vice versa.
After exploring the venue, we ventured to the TN Capitol to enjoy the fresh spring greens. The classic architecture fit in seamlessly with the timeless feel of their engagement session. The weather was perfect, so we took advantage of the gorgeous day and all the natural beauty surrounding the Capitol building.
It wasn’t just the locations that made this engagement session special; it was Georgia and Jacob. They were so sweet together with a laidback and fun energy. They fully leaned into the session and fully trusted my vision. The outcome resulted in some of my favorite images!
