I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

i'm KÉra

I loved getting to know Kathryn and David during their timeless Nashville engagement session. We started at the War Memorial in Nashville and took advantage of grand columns and architectural elements.  We then sauntered around the iconic steps at Capitol Hill. I love this location and the clean, historic, and timeless setting it provides. As we explored this beautiful area of Nashville, the couple took in the downtown scenery, walked along ledges at the Capitol building, and stood on balconies before ending their session near a quaint and peaceful pond.

Kathryn and David have an infectious warmth when they’re together, which made their session feel natural and welcoming. They flowed effortlessly into poses and you could sense their connection to one another. The pair met at the University of Louisville Hospital in the spring of 2021 when Kathryn started working as a clinical pharmacist and David became one of the medical residents. What started as work chats and fun banter eventually led to their first date. The rest, as they say, is history!

Timeless Nashville Engagement

I aim for every session I capture to be timeless – beautiful dresses, tailored suits, real wrist watches (no apple watches!), and if possible, neutral backdrops with lots of texture. In addition, not only should the session be timeless, but represent the joyful emotions of the day. The images should transport you back to that very moment and season of life, allowing you to relive it once more.  This gorgeous engagement session perfectly represented that vision of timeless elegance. I imagine Kathryn and David looking back at this session 20 years from now, through their engagement heirloom album, and thinking – this feels and looks like yesterday. So much has happened between then and now, and yet, time has stood still.
