Katherine and Kyle’s summer engagement session began at Harlinsdale Farm, a historic farm nestled in the heart of Franklin, TN. The sprawling grounds offered the perfect backdrop as we chased the beautiful warm light, pausing as these two cuddled in close or broke into dancing twirls. As we walked through the scenic grounds of Harlinsdale Farm, Katherine and Kyle’s love for each other was on full display — it was so beautiful to witness.

The couple had two different looks for their session. During the first part at the farm, the couple wore light, neutral colors that created a soft romantic vibe. Katherine’s flowy, floral dress and Kyle’s tan slacks and button up shirt were perfect, especially when combined with the soft, golden sunlight and natural beauty of the farm.

After exploring Harlinsdale Farm, the couple did a quick outfit change into a more dressed up, sophisticated look that was perfect for walking around the charming streets of downtown Franklin. I absolutely loved getting to know Katherine and Kyle while photographing their infectious love as we toured historic Franklin, TN.

This beautiful couple’s story began after meeting in person at a bar in Printers Alley after several months of chatting. The connection was instant, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. I’m not surprised at all after watching them interact — their body language and chemistry together is electric.

Katherine and Kyle ended the evening at Grays on Main, where they enjoyed a romantic dinner and wine. This intimate setting was a wonderful ending to their engagement session. I always suggest turning your engagement session into a fun date night. This is also something I love arranging for my couples.

Though they now call Birmingham home, Katherine and Kyle will be tying the knot this August at Cedarmont Farm in Franklin, TN. I am so excited to capture this next chapter in their journey together.
