Grace and Riley’s outdoor, tented summer wedding took place at a private residence in Charlotte, NC. The beautiful landscape of the property made for a gorgeous and memorable wedding day. It was truly out of this world, stunning. I had the privilege of working with my talented friend, Demi Mabry on this wedding, and it was such a wonderful experience.

The stunning bride, Grace, wore her hair swept up in a low updo. Her wedding dress was a sight to behold. The strapless gown featured embroidered petals that covered the bodice and then slowly thinned out down the train of her dress. Later in the day, Grace put on a sheer, shawl accessory that had more petal details. I love how this small addition to her ensemble created a whole new, elegant look.

The private residence where Grace and Riley exchanged their vows featured lush greenery and picturesque backdrops. One of the standout features of the wedding was the sailcloth tent. Particularly, the natural light that poured in created an inviting and airy atmosphere that felt both intimate and grand.

While the wedding’s color palette was a simple and classic combination of white and green, the decor felt incredibly elevated. The textures and floral patterns used throughout the event added depth and richness to the overall aesthetic. From the lush green accents, to the delicate white blossoms decorating the tables, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create an atmosphere of timeless elegance. Even the dance floor featured white and light green tiles perfectly tying the space together. In addition, one of my favorite details was the floral embroidered tablecloths, and coordinating throw pillows decorating the bench seating.

Following the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds headed out for sunset photos that were positively stunning. The warm light from the sun created a beautiful, romantic glow. Afterwards, the outdoor cocktail hour allowed guests to mingle and take in the property as they enjoyed plated appetizers and drinks. The tented reception was a celebration to remember, as guests enjoyed the warm evening breeze as they took over the dance floor with the newlyweds.
