Some weddings just feel like they belong in a storybook. Timeless, elegant, and full of heartfelt moments, Julia and Tyler’s wedding day was exactly that. Julia and Tyler’s love story began at Auburn University. Though they lived in the same dorm building freshman year, it wasn’t until senior year that their paths finally crossed with the help of a few mutual friends. The rest, as they say, is history, leading them to their unforgettable and gorgeous Nashville Public Library wedding.
Their love was evident in every glance, every laugh, and every moment throughout their wedding day. During portraits, the rain came and went, but they were total troopers. One of my favorite moments happened during their portraits, as we were making our way to the Nashville Public Library, a few raindrops started to fall. Without hesitation, Tyler gently covered Julia’s hair. It was such a quiet, tender gesture that spoke volumes about his love and care for her.
Julia and Tyler’s wedding day style was effortlessly classic. They had a timeless palette of black and white with soft touches of light blue. The bridesmaids wore pale blue dresses and carried delicate white bouquets, all of which perfectly complemented Julia in her stunning strapless gown and cathedral-length, lace veil.
The entire day had an elevated, elegant feel. Their grandeur of Cathedral of the Incarnation where the ceremony took place made for a breathtaking backdrop as they exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. Then, there was the reception at the stunning Nashville Public Library, which is truly one of my favorite spaces in the city. With its marble staircases, soft lighting, black-and-white interior, and old-world charm, it’s the perfect setting for a wedding celebration. Everyone gathered in the library’s grand event space for the reception where the newlyweds and their guests celebrated and danced the night away, completely in the moment, joyful, and so in love.
When asked what they love most about one another, their answers made it even more clear that they are the perfect match.
Julia loves “how much he cares about others and will drop anything to help his friends or family.”
Tyler’s favorite thing about Julia is ”how she supports me and us as a couple in everything we do. She’s the best teammate in life anyone could ever ask for. She loves very deeply and cares about anyone who crosses her path . . . Her love never falters.”
Julia and Tyler, thank you for trusting me to capture your special day. It was an absolute joy to witness your love, laughter, and the beautiful way you care for each other. Congratulations to you both!
