I want to create imagery in moments that feel like you. With the utmost intention in everything I do, this experience should feel like yours.

Pour a glass of wine and stay a while, won't you?

I love photographing and being a part of wedding editorials. They provide freedom to explore, dream, and play with texture, colors, and story. It allows us wedding professionals to have fun and create a wedding from our shared vision. Texture meets timeless design in this recent Cedarmont Farm wedding editorial.

Earthy Tones + Cozy Textures

The overall design was grounded in warm, earthy tones and cozy textures, giving a subtle nod to Pantone’s color of the year Mocha Mousse. This editorial was designed to feel warm, inviting, and romantic. Cedarmont Farm’s beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces provided the perfect backdrop. In addition, the balance of historic charm and elegant modern updates makes it a top wedding venue in Franklin, TN.

To elevate the design and enhance the vibe we were envisioning we used muted floral tones and boho-inspired arrangements by Larson Floral. With soft, feather-like accents, warm taupes, light pinks, and buttery creams, the florals added movement and organic beauty.

Texture Meets Timeless Design

One of my favorite design elements was the textured wedding cake by Katelin Hayes Desserts.  The cake featured vertical, wavy lines that added movement and a modern edge to the white cake. It was truly a work of art. The bride also wore a wedding dress that featured a very similar design to the cake, with wavy lines and a flowy skirt.

The paper goods and signage by White Ink Calligraphy fit the theme flawlessly. The elegant invitation suite featured white textured paper, a wax seal, and a light tan envelope. The invites set the tone for the warm and timeless event that would unfold. Fabric was woven into many day of details details, from the custom seating chart to fabric bar signage, and even menus that floated effortlessly across each place setting. The fabric details by white Ink added so much depth, movement, and texture.

Editorials like this are such a joy to photograph and be a part of. They allow space for inspiration and creativity to unfold in new ways. I’m so grateful to have been part of this one and work alongside a talented team of creatives. I hope it sparks ideas for couples dreaming and planning their big day.
