I love that more and more couples are wanting to document their entire wedding weekend. The rehearsal dinner and welcome party the night before are such joyful events leading up to the big day. There is so much excitement in the air along with the joy of seeing and connecting with loved ones. Not to mention, including photography coverage of all the wedding events tells the complete story of this important chapter. Mary Kate and Jack’s classic rehearsal dinner at Noelle Hotel in Nashville set the stage for an amazing wedding day ahead, and I was thrilled they asked me capture it.

Classic Rehearsal Dinner at Noelle Hotel in Nashville

The Noelle Hotel features art deco inspired design. It is a boutique hotel in downtown Nashville filled with so much character and charm. Located in downtown it has an iconic Nashville vibe that Mary Kate and Jack leaned into for the welcome party, which had a western theme, whereas the rehearsal dinner had a more timeless and elegant aesthetic. Both were beautiful in their own ways and perfectly reflected this sweet couple.

A classic blue and white color palette inspired the design of the rehearsal dinner with patterned linens, blue and white flowers, and flickering candlelight. The white event space features floor-to-celing windows along two walls which allowed all the gorgeous natural light to pour in. Guests mingled as they enjoyed delicious food and lots of espresso martinis. Later everyone raised their glasses to the soon-to-be-newlyweds as heartfelt speeches were delivered in honor of Mary Kate and Jack.

Western Themed Welcome Party

After a wonderful dinner, the welcome party started. I loved all the western details that were a little nod to country music city. Guests took to the theme and wore cowboy hats and the bride herself changed from an elegant white dress to a shorter white cocktail dress with white cowboy boots. A wooden bar sign featured a cowgirl figure next to the words “The Watering Hole”, tablecloths with cowboys and cowgirls riding horses, and an on-site leather embossing by Marmade Design, were just a few of my favorite details.

The evening was a dream, but it was just the beginning. Their wedding day was even more beautiful and memorable. It was such an honor to document their entire weekend, and I can’t wait to share more from their big day!
