Isabella and Taylor are MARRIED! Their Mint Springs Farm wedding day was a day of complete reverence and trust for the Lord sprinkled with unending JOY. From beginning to end there were so many special moments. The couple readied for their big day with those closest to them. This stunning wedding venue has a beautiful bridal suite and groom’s loft, which allowed us to stay onsite all day and capture every moment. Once ready, Isabella shared heartwarming first look moments with her bridesmaids and a few family members before meeting Taylor for their intimate first touch.
While I love first looks, there is just something about a first touch that I love. Even though you are trying not to look at each other, there is something about it that is so tender. Having those few precious moments to stand back to back, touching hands and sharing private vows is such a perfect way to start a wedding. Isabella and Taylor’s first touch was filled with emotion. You could tell how deeply moved they were as they exchanged their handwritten words. We chose the perfect spot for this moment tucked away on the venue’s property outside a small white building.
The venue itself is positively breathtaking. Set on the expansive Tennessee countryside, there are rolling hills and lovely lake views that make for gorgeous wedding portraits around the property. Each wedding space is set up to include the natural surroundings. The open-air Ceremony Pavilion provides coverage overhead so there is no need to worry about weather, but still allows you to enjoy the outdoors. Wedding guests watched Isabella and Taylor exchange vows while the lake sparkled behind them just beyond the pavilion.
Once Isabella and Taylor were officially husband and wife, we snuck away for some couple portraits around the venue, which did not disappoint. The lake, the rolling hillsides, the sunset – it all came together for the most beautiful newlywed portraits. Meanwhile, guests mingled outside on the patio for cocktail hour.
Afterwards, everyone headed to the venue’s Reception Barn. Seating assignments were arranged in bouquets of soft florals guiding guests to their tables. As the evening unfolded, laughter and joy filled the room. Before the night was over, Isabella and Taylor arranged for a little late night treat, from 7 Eleven. With drinks in hand and a special sign that read, “Oh thank heaven for 7 Eleven” the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a refreshing beverage before their grand sparkler exit and getaway in a convertible with custom “Just Wed” license plate.
Isabella and Taylor, I’ll always remember how big you two smiled all day and the peace that swept over you. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding. I can’t wait to see what comes next; the best is yet to come!
