Heather and Kenny had the most classic wedding at The Bridge Building in Nashville. The black and white colors and details created a timeless look and feel, but they still had so much personality woven in. The Bridge Building is known as one of the most iconic venues in Nashville and for good reason. Sitting on the riverfront in downtown, it provides the most gorgeous views of the city. There are several different event spaces at the venue, and Heather and Kenny decided to use them all! They rented out the entire building for their big day.
The day began on the second floor where everyone got ready in different areas. Once ready, Heather shared a first look with dad before heading outside for her first look with Kenny, which was so sweet and tender.
Nashville experienced a heatwave the weekend of their wedding, but we all pushed through and captured some of the most beautiful couples portraits under and on top of the bridge. Doing a first look allowed us extra time for portraits, which I was thankful for, because the spaces and views at this venue were amazing.
The ceremony took place on the third floor in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing guests to take in the view and the ceremony all at once. After the ceremony, everyone headed to the first floor for cocktail hour and a delicious dinner. Then, everyone gravitated to the tented rooftop for their reception celebration.
The party that ensued was hands down one of the best I’ve ever seen. The newlyweds never left the dance floor and were smiling from ear-to-ear the entire night. One of my favorite details was the stunning floral installation over the dance floor. The greenery draped across the ceiling with white flowers hanging down really brought the room to life. Heather changed into a shimmering reception dress, and both changed into comfy tennis shoes, his black and hers white.
Heather and Kenny’s wedding day was perfect all around. I love how clean, classic, and elegant everything felt while still incorporating personal details that made it their own. All weekend everyone kept saying, “They are so cute together”, and they really were. Their laidback and charming presence made for such an enjoyable and fun wedding weekend. These two are clearly head over heels for each other and it was an honor to capture it all.
Heather and Kenny, thank you for choosing me to be a part of your special day. It was a joy to witness the love you both share. Cheers to a lifetime of love and happiness.
